International Women’s Day celebrations in Crewe proved another crowd-puller, drawing hundreds of people to a fun-packed event organised by Motherwell Cheshire.
The women’s health and wellbeing charity, based in Wistaston, pulled off another triumph with its ninth annual celebration of all things womankind, filling the ground floor of Cheshire College – South & West with stalls, music and dance.
High sheriff of Cheshire, Dr Dennis Dunn, attended, along with Crewe town mayor, Dennis Straine-Francis and Cheshire East deputy mayor, Marilyn Houston, who each paid tribute to the charity’s work and effort in staging such a memorable day.
