Motherwell New Life and Me

Motherwell Cheshire CIO, are pleased to announce the return of their popular NEW LIFE AND ME course in Winsford.

This is a face to face course, offering a safe space to share any concerns or struggles about motherhood for mums (baby under 2 yrs) to come together and look at different issues they face whilst being supported by experienced facilitators and each other!

WHEN: starts January 2025

WHERE: Winsford Hub

We will look at:

– Changes in relationships

– Expectations vs Reality!

– The role of motherhood

– Parenting styles

– Thinking about your feelings

– Self esteem

The benefits to health and mental wellbeing, of talking with peers in a supportive environment, are well documented and here, at Motherwell, we promote talking and connecting with others as an important part of looking after your mental health.

Wellbeing bags, Women’s health literature, Period Dignity supplies and support/signposting on cancer and cancer prevention will be available too.

There’s plenty of parking and refreshments!!

Debbie Sharred (Wellbeing Coordinator), commented: “This is a fantastic opportunity for local mums to experience the benefits of coming together and feeling supported. Apart from great conversations, this is a time to make new, lasting friendships! They will also be able to find out more about our services, plus other local services/agencies in our community.

Motherwell prides itself on listening to the community in which we are based, so this will be an ideal opportunity to come and have your say and help us structure ours”

We look forward to meeting you all on Tues 5th November for a day of interesting conversations!!
