We are pleased to announce the return of our popular Wellbeing Day, on Wednesday 3rd July to be held at our Crewe centre (62, Beech Drive, Wistaston, Crewe CW2 8RG).
A full range of treatments will be available at the event with full details below:
Bee at One Meditation Techniques (4.45pm – 6.00pm)
MEDITATION (plus breathing techniques and TFT)
There are many benefits to adopting a regular mindful meditation practice.
Meditation like Mindfulness can aid by lowering anxiety and depression, aid digestive problems, improving memory, promote good sleep, improve heart rate and produce a deep state of peace and wellbeing
Breathing techniques and TFT (Thought Field Therapy) are effective tools for treating trauma, PTSD, stress, anxiety and many other disorders..
Tropic Hand Massage (3.00pm – 5.00pm)
Focusing on the hands, wrists, and forearms, creating a relaxing atmosphere to reduce anxiety, tension and improve circulation. This type of massage may be used to relieve stress and provide pain relief.
Facial (3.00pm – 7.00pm)
Enjoy a relaxing healing facial, and love the skin you’re in.It will not only improve the appearance, condition and function of your skin, it will also provide overall relaxation and balance via the hands of a trained practitioner.
The benefits of these treatments to health and mental wellbeing are well documented and here, at Motherwell, we promote self care as an important part of looking after your mental health. For each treatment a £5.00 nonrefundable donation will be required on booking your place. Donations can be paid by cash, BACS or card, by emailing wellbeing@motherwellcheshirecio.com
Also during the day we are being joined by Sarah, the East Cheshire NHS Trust Breast Screening Uptake Officer who will be keen to ask you your opinions on local Breast Screening services.
Kate will be available to offer a bra fitting service and will be happy to offer breast care advice..
Pre-loved/new bras, wellbeing bags, Women’s health literature, Period Dignity supplies and support/signposting on cancer and cancer prevention will be available on the day
Light refreshments will be served all day in the garden, weather permitting!
Debbie Sharred (Wellbeing Coordinator), commented on the day: “This is a fantastic opportunity for local women to experience the benefits of some holistic therapies. Once you’ve tried it you will be hooked and be coming back for more!
They will also be able to find out more about our services, plus other local services/agencies in our community and take advantage of our Community Garden.
