AND
March 26th, 10-12 pm, at Northwich Memorial Court with Brio Leisure
AND hoping to have interesting and informative conversations on Facebook with professionals and lived experience individuals.
We will also be having lively chats about women’s health on a new “HerStories Podcast” launching very soon.
During Ovarian Cancer and Endometriosis month, our staff will be joined by other agencies to support you, and signpost you to local or national support.
You will also have access to reputable literature, sharing signs and symptoms, what to do if you have any questions, seeking reassurance and advice, treatments, causes and risk factors.
There is ongoing research into the relationship between endometriosis and ovarian cancer. While endometriosis itself is not cancer, women with endometriosis may have a slightly increased risk of developing certain types of ovarian cancer.
Debbie Sharred (Wellbeing Coordinator), commented: “This is a topic very close to my heart, as my family members have been affected by both conditions. I would encourage all women to seek every opportunity to monitor their health and be aware of the symptoms linked to both conditions. In the case of cancer, early detection is always crucial.
They will be able to find out more about our services and also what other local agencies have to offer.
Motherwell prides itself on listening to the community in which we are based, so this will be an ideal opportunity to come and have your say and help us structure our services”
We look forward to meeting you all in March for healthy and interesting conversations!!
